We collect information you provide directly, information generated through your use of the Platform, and limited technical data required to operate the service.

Account information: When you register, we collect your email address, a display name (your chosen "Trader Name"), and a hashed password. If you sign in via Google OAuth, we receive your Google account email and display name.

Subscription and payment information: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full card number, CVV, or bank details on our servers. Stripe provides us with a payment record and subscription status only.

Platform activity: We store data you voluntarily enter into the Platform, including trading journal entries (notes, trade details, screenshots you upload) and any referral codes you use.

Technical data: Our infrastructure may automatically collect standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited, for the purpose of operating and maintaining the Platform. We do not build advertising profiles from this data.

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Provide access to the Platform features appropriate to your subscription
• Process subscription payments via Stripe
• Store your trading journal entries and personal notes within your account
• Apply referral relationships when a referral code is submitted at registration
• Respond to support requests you send to us
• Maintain the security and integrity of the Platform

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

Account data, authentication, and user records are stored using Supabase, a cloud database and authentication platform. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. The Platform is hosted via Vercel. These services have their own privacy and security policies which we recommend you review.

Market data (prices, economic calendar events) is retrieved in real-time from third-party APIs including Binance, ER-API (Frankfurter), TwelveData, and ForexNewsAPI. We do not store or transmit your personal data to these market data providers.

The Platform uses browser local storage and session storage to maintain your login session, remember your terms acceptance, and store temporary preferences (such as pending referral codes). These are stored locally in your browser and are not transmitted to third parties.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or behavioural tracking cookies.

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

• Supabase — stores your account and journal data as our database provider
• Stripe — processes subscription payments; receives your billing information directly
• Vercel — hosts the Platform and may receive standard web request logs
• Legal compliance — if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your data. To exercise any such rights, contact us at support@vantamarketanalysis.org.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your subscription management portal. Account deletion requests can be submitted to our support email.

The Vanta Market Platform is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 years of age. If you believe a minor has registered, please contact us and we will remove the account.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. Authentication and account data are managed through Supabase's infrastructure; payment data is handled by Stripe's PCI DSS‑compliant systems.

In the event of a data breach involving personal information that poses a real risk of significant harm, we will notify affected individuals and, where required, the relevant supervisory authority, in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy legislation.

Our infrastructure providers — including Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), and Stripe (payment processing) — store and process data in the United States and potentially other jurisdictions outside Canada. By using the Platform, you acknowledge that your personal information may be transferred to and processed in a foreign jurisdiction. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these providers.
